Zatoka Gdanska is one of the best place in Poland for watching wintering Mute swans. Recently Agnieszka Labudda and Ania Budyta observed there Mute swan (Cygnus olor) from the north (swedish ring X8200).

Nice pictures of colour-ringed Greenfinches
The Greenfinch CR project is growing. Actually we ringed a few thousands birds so it's not a fortune that also photographs meet our birds. The great exaple is Marcin Perkowski (see his website), who regularly meet ringed Greenfinches and shoot them.

Our coot in Bremen! [Germany]
Just 2 months passed since i have ringed the coot (Fulica atra) with C60 neckband in Szczecin. On the 31th of December 2009 and the 1st of January 2010 the bird was observed in Bremen. It's nearly 400 km from the ringign place.
Results in the north-west Poland are amazing! Actually just 10 colourringed coots give us 1 long distance message.
Thanks Kai Dallmann to report.
