Is not the first Croatian Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) who visit the Miedwie Lake (the fifth bigest lake in Poland). They really like roosting place on the north coast (Morzyczyn). Look forward to hearing from Luka about ringing details.

Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia) with Cech metal ring found in Poland

The bird was ringed 10 years ago in Zliv (Chech Republic) !!! as chick.

He had tried to find out the right solution and found a fishing line. Made a lasso, put on the tree and ....

Our Common Gulls (Larus canus) in Uckermunde

Just recived an email from Frank Joisten who has read two Common Gulls (Larus canus) in Uckermunde, Germany. What funny... both of them were ringed by polish ringers, but one bird in Szczecin, second probably in the Slask.
